AWEsome 2020 is a Mastermind event, but we still wanted to bring in some industry experts to help us learn and grow. We are excited to have experts in SEO, Video, Content Creation, Community Building and more.

AWEsome Speakers Include:

Carly Anderson
Lipgloss and Crayons

Carly Anderson is the founder of Lipgloss and Crayons, a lifestyle brand that celebrates body positivity, giving back, girl power, and the magic of Disney. Along with her spunky kindergartner, Carly navigates life as a retired inner city school teacher and a new San Diego resident.  These former LA residents are happy to still be close enough to head to the Happiest Place on Earth most weekends. Carly and Lydia share their theme park adventures, their takes on new releases from their favorite studios, and explore the world as far as Pixie Dust can reach.

The dynamic mother and daughter duo (often along with Carly’s professional musician husband) have participated in numerous media projects for their favorite park. They were recently seen as featured influencers for Incredibles Day at the Pixar Animation Studios, part of the most recent Aulani influencer trip, took over the Shop Disney Instagram stories for a mommy and me day at Pixar, partnered with Le Creuset for their latest Mickey product release, covered this year’s Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise for Disney Family, attended the media event to open Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, experienced the very first day of the Disneyland Princess Breakfast Adventures and are more than a little obsessed with the Haunted Mansion.

Amber Bracegirdle
Co-Founder Mediavine

Amber Bracegirdle has been a blogger since 2008 and is a Co-Founder of Mediavine. She’s obsessed with helping bloggers create better content and the businesses of their dreams. Her work as the Managing Editor of Food Fanatic and Co-Host of the Theory of Content podcast supports these obsessions. She lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband, two sons and one very grumpy, geriatric cat.

Jodi Grundig
Family Travel Magazine

After her son was born in 2006, Jodi Grundig founded Mom’s Favorite Stuff, a baby product review blog where she shared her favorite finds. In 2011, Jodi spun off the popular travel section of her blog into Family Travel Magazine, a website that inspires families to travel.

Family Travel Magazine has been listed as a top family travel blog by USA Today’s 10 Best, and Jodi has been quoted by a number of publications as a family travel expert. Jodi was part of the 2009 Disney Parks Moms Panel, and has traveled on press trips with a number of brands and destinations both with and without her kids.

Amiyrah Martin
4 Hats & Frugal, The Geekly Show

Three time award-winning blogger, vlogger, and digital content creator, Amiyrah Martin has mastered the art of using true authenticity in online influence. An innovator and leader in the blogging industry, she is always ahead of trends and paving the way for those entering the field.

As the creator of 4 Hats and Frugal, she teaches young moms who are short on time and tight on budget how to find the fun in frugality. She pushes the envelope and forces her audience to challenge conventional thinking with her $64 weekly grocery hauls and USDA grocery budget challenge.

Amiyrah is a Disney Moms Panel alumna and has covered multiple Disney Studios movie premieres and events. Noticing the lack of diversity in influencers invited and able to join press trips and coveted invitation only Disney events, she started the Disney Moms of Color group to support and increase the presence and professionalism of aspiring Disney Bloggers.

A self proclaimed geek, Amiyrah is a co-creator of Star Wars Moms and co-host of The Geekly Show. Both are platforms devoted to debunking the myths and changing the image of what it means to be a nerd. The way she authentically shares her Star Wars obsession helped to earn her a spot in national commercial campaigns with Kohl’s and Target.
Jessica McDonald
The Healthy Mouse

Jessica McDonald began her blog The Healthy Mouse in 2016, as a way to share healthy recipes inspired by Disney and to create food guides that unveiled the vegetarian and vegan food options at Disney Parks. Since beginning her blogging journey and focusing on her niche of healthy living, plant-based eating and Disney, she has had the opportunity to work as a freelance food stylist and recipe contributor to and Babble. She also has had the honor of creating healthy Disney-inspired food art for Disney at their booth at the Produce Marketing Association and at D23 Expo 2018. Jessica has continued to grow her brand by showcasing Disney travel tips, and work with Disney at media events and creating travel content for Disney Family and most recently Disneyland Hotel.

Becca Robins
Founder of AWEsome Retreat

Becca is the founder of AWEsome Retreat, a conference for family travel content creators (especially those that focus on Theme Parks). After years of trying to convince others to start an event for those that cover Theme Parks on the west coast, Becca took the leap to create AWEsome.

Becca is the writer behind This Crazy Adventure Called Life, a site dedicated to helping families make memories amid the chaos, whether at home or on the road. She has been writing about Theme Park travel for more than seven years, and calls Disneyland her home.

Becca is a co-founder of the wildly popular Disneyland with Kids group on Facebook, where she helps families plan their Disneyland vacations.

Ever spreading her wings, Becca has become passionate about live streaming, video, and the importance of building a community. Becca has partnered with multiple hotels, Allianz Travel Insurance, and more to share content that encourages families to travel more.

In 2018 Becca founded AWEsome Retreat, holding the first event in March 2019. She is excited to continue AWEsome in 2020.

When not working, Becca enjoys time with her husband and three sons, spending time outdoors in her home state of Idaho.
